Ganesh Kumar is a well known and award winning serial entrepreneur and startup investor. Ganesh was the Ernst & Young Technology Entrepreneur of the Year Malaysia in 2012. He has received many accolades including being recognised by Top 10 of Malaysia as among the 10 most inspiring Malaysian technology entrepreneurs and by Society Magazine as one of the 100 people you must know in Asia.
Ganesh started his first company, ASFO Global Technologies (GlobalTech), when he was just 21 years old. GlobalTech is a leading provider of innovative information technology solutions and services. The company has worked with some of the world’s largest organisations, including IBM, Microsoft, and Dell.
Ganesh is a strong advocate for entrepreneurship and has been involved in many programmes to support startups. He is also a mentor at several accelerators, including MaGIC (Malaysian Global Innovation & Creative Centre) and MDEC’s (Malaysian Digital Economy Corporation) Startup Bootcamp.
